It's getting to the time of year where everyone starts thinking about who they want on their fantasy football squad. Hogs Haven has a strong fantasy football tradition, with Hog Hunter being the reigning champion from last year's squad. This year we are looking to reform our fantasy football program to include more members of our community and create a solid league structure that will lead us into the future. Here is my proposed plan so far:
- A League: 16 teams, includes HH Staff and HH Fantasy Football Legends
- B League: 12, teams, for competitive members looking to move up in the HH Fantasy Football Ranks
- C League, 8-12 teams, for fantasy football novice looking to have some fun.
UPDATE 2:15PM: We have already filled up an A, B, and C league. Keep the invites coming as we have already started a D and E league.
The A League champion will be the HH Fantasy Champion of the World! If you fail to make the playoffs in the A League then you are sent to the B League, if you finish top three in the B League then you are promoted to the A League. The same structure occurs between the B and C league, but the C league winner moves all the way up with the big boys in the A League. (I know the numbers don't work out right now, but it'll work once everything is concrete, consolation games will be meaningful)
All leagues will be played on our SB Nation partner Yahoo Fantasy Sports and all the leagues should have the same scoring structure (not Ken Meringolo's). So this is where I need your help.
