Last night the United States Men's Soccer team took to the pitch (FedEx Field) to get spanked by the Brazilian national team, which features a bunch of guys with one name. FedEx has increasingly hosted a lot more events in the past couple of years beyond the Redskins. So as we continue our summer "Slow News Day" series I ask what non-Redskins event would you most like to attend at FedEx.
USA vs. Brazil: Just pretend its yesterday and you're real hyped up about seeing a bunch of "Where's Waldo" impersonators.
Tim McGraw/Kenny Chesney Concert: Perhaps this is the only time you can wear a cowboy hat at FedEx and not get a projectile thrown at your head. This event also features a tremendous opportunity to see Kevin in painted-on jeans, as these two country old farts take to the stage.
West Virginia vs. James Madison: Burning couches, mountain men, and Steve Shoup...what could be better? I can only imagine the tailgate trash talking between people wearing purple and still leaning on the Virginia Tech upset a couple years ago and people...well...from West Virginia.
Virginia Tech vs. Cincinnati: It doesn't exactly have the lore of Army-Navy but Tech will likely be looking to go 6-0 after blowing through their titanic out-of-conference schedule featuring Pittsburgh, Bowling Green, and Austin Peay. LETS GO PEAY!
