Report: Redskins To Sign ILB Bryan Kehl Today

Kehl was a 4th round pick by the Giants in 2008.

The folks over at Extreme Skins started their own podcast SKiNSIDERS and broke news that the Skins have pretty much signed Kehl. All he needs to do is pass his physical.

Keyaron Fox previously held this role but struggled at times this year. Fox likely was brought in with Lou Spanos, who moved on to UCLA. Lorenzo Alexander is getting reps at ILB now, a transition he started last season.

Kehl is 27 years old and has pretty much been a backup his entire career. He's started five games in his five year career, but has played in about 14 games each year. In 2010, several teams put in bids for Kehl. Kehl also made some nice claiming that Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell encouraged faking injuries, which his Giants teammates denied (shocker).
