A couple of minor meetings and workouts have been going on throughout the week. Here are some that we know of:
London Fletcher: The Skins and Fletcher are close to a deal and hope to have everything finalized by the end of the weekend.
The Washington Redskins are close to re-signing free agent linebacker London Fletcher, a person with knowledge of the negotiations said Friday.
A deal between Fletcher and the Redskins was within reach and could be completed as soon as later Friday, the person said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the talks are confidential. via Washington Post
Jonathan Goff, ILB: Goff came in for a workout on Thursday. Goff was a 5th round pick of the Giants in 2008 and has been with the G-Men ever since. He started all 16 games in 2010 registering 78 total tackles and a sack. Goff tore his ACL before the season in 2011 and missed the whole year.
Tim Dobbins, ILB: Dobbins is another former 5th round pick but in the 2006 draft when the Chargers selected him. After four years in San Diego, Dobbins spent one year in Miami and last year in Houston. His main responsibilities lie as a special teamers, but he has seen some action as a back up. Despite his visit the Texans re-signed Dobbins today.
Robert Turbin, RB, Utah State: Turbin is a big, physical runner with great vision and who excels in the one cut scheme. There are some concerns surrounding his durability however. Turbin is expected to go in the late third or early fourth round in the draft.
