Brandon Banks and Sweeping the Champs

If you missed it last night Brandon Banks was ecstatic that the Redskins swept the Super Bowl champs, tweeting "We swept the Super Bowl Champs!!!". As you may expect Banks got some backlash from many Redskins fans and then responded with:

Lol I love how y'all hate me!!!! Thanks to the few of y'all that rock wit me!! Y'all hate on successful ppl don't understand that at all!!!

Can someone in Redskins PR please take this man's mobile device away? Simply put, Banks needs to shut up. The Giants won more games this year than Banks' team has his WHOLE career, a career in which he's contributed a whopping one touchdown. If you want to be on this team and be leader then do it on the field, not on twitter. You're happy you swept the Giants, despite barely contributing? I mean in the second game Banks had one punt return, a negative two yard gem, and one kick return where he promptly didn't get back to the 20. Stop hating on Banks' success everyone!

I'm certainly glad we swept a division rival, but the fact that we're 3-0 versus the past two years against Super Bowl champs means absolutely nothing. Banks almost makes me yearn for Devin Thomas to come back. Yea...its that bad.
