Redskins Drive Ends in Morris Fumble

The Redskins had a chance early in the third quarter, but blew it on an Alfred Morris fumble. The running back ran for 12 yards early in the drive, and three plays later it was Robert Griffin III's time to strike. RGIII executed a perfect zone read, causing the defense to converge on Morris (who was headed to the right side), and the quarterback sneaked away to the left and ran 46 yards downfield. On the next play, Morris ran six yards to the nine before Chase Blackburn forced a fumble. Keith Rivers recovered, and the Giants are now driving as a result.

It's Morris's second fumble lost of the season, and both have come against the Giants.
