Elfin: No Need to Panic This Sunday; RGIII Heals Faster Than Everyone Too " CBS DC
But unless Griffin wakes up tomorrow with more pain and swelling in his mildly sprained right knee than he had yesterday while taking limited practice, I say start him at Cleveland. Coaches play their best players, when healthy, and Griffin is Washington’s best player.

RG3: "I Feel Really Good About It" " CBS DC
It’s gotten better everyday, which is a positive sign for me. Sunday night I thought there was probably no chance that I could play the next week and then Monday morning I felt better about it. Yesterday I felt better about it and today I feel really good about it."

Should the Washington Redskins Trade Kirk Cousins? | Fanspeak Washington Redskins Blog
A debate that is sure to take place this offseason, has had a jump start these last few days, with the performance of back-up quarterback Kirk Cousins in Sunday's win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Robert Griffin III doesn’t believe his mobility makes him injury prone
"That play can happen to anybody," Griffin said Wednesday. "It wasn’t like I was waiting to get down until the last second like I did against Atlanta or anything like that. My leg came up and [Haloti Ngata] hit my leg. That was an unfortunate part of it.

Griffin has to prove on the practice field he’s ready to play, Shanahan says
"I’ve had players tell me that they can go, they’re ready to go, and you can see they aren’t ready to go," Shanahan said following Wednesday’s practice, in which Griffin was a limited participant three days after suffering a mild sprain of a ligament in his right knee. "You go by your experience, just being out there evaluating people. A lot of players will tell you a lot of different things. But you can see if somebody’s ready to practice or ready to play. You go through your experience at that position or other positions and you try to do what’s right."

Browns preparing for both Kirk Cousins and Robert Griffin III
"I don’t know," he said. "It’s hard to tell. And that’s why you prepare for the full offense. I’m sure there’s things that RGIII has done that are really not traditional NFL-type plays that Kirk can still run. It would be hard for us to guess. We just have to move forward and prepare like either one will play."

Alfred Morris expects RG3 to play Sunday for Redskins - NFL.com
"He looked good today," Morris said. "You couldn't even tell he had an injury. He was running normally (at practice). I expect him to play because that's just the type of guy he is."

For Redskins' Kirk Cousins, tidal wave of texts came after comeback - Washington Times
"I added up the text messages after the game on Monday morning, and I had like 140 people who had texted me. I think I responded to like two," Cousins said. "I called my dad, I talked to my parents, I talked to my siblings, my brother and sister, I talked to my grandparents. That was about it. I want to apologize to the 137 people I haven’t responded to. You’re probably not going to get a response, so I’ll see you in the offseason."

Richard Crawford directly got up the field in his debut as punt returner - Washington Times
"What Richard did is he took the ball as soon as he caught it upfield and made some people miss," Shanahan said. "If you can get 10 yards on a punt return, you're doing great. And that's what he was able to do: catch the ball and turn it up field, get some positive yards. When he was doing that a couple punt returns, he's got some big yardage, and obviously the last one was the difference in the game."

Breaking down the Redskins’ playoff chances

Alfred Morris still sleeps on the couch at home
"Just putting on the burgundy and gold, it’s like, maaan," he said. "Not only am I in the NFL, but I get to play for my favorite team. I don’t think too many people can say that. And for such a storied franchise, and a team that has probably to me the best fans in the nation. They’re so loyal. I know it sounds kind of cheesy, but it’s definitely the truth."
