Note: the reporters who follow the Redskins only have access to about the first 15 minutes of practice, but here are some observations from those around the team who watched Robert Griffin III participate in jogging and light throwing during the early portions of Wednesday's team practice. The reports may not mean much but they are encouraging.
Just returned from practice fields here at @redskinsPark...Robert Griffin III was out there, appeared to be moving well, in limited time — ESPN 980 (@ESPNRadio980) December 12, 2012
The update on @rgiii as we r allowed to report it, is that he was at media portion of practice, appeared to be moving well, in good spirits — Chris Russell (@Russellmania980) December 12, 2012
#Redskins' Griffin threw a few passes to his receivers while at practice but nothing complicated and nothing that required extreme exertion. — Zac Boyer (@ZacBoyer) December 12, 2012
Just because RG3 was able to participate in stretching/jogging without a noticeable limp doesn't mean he'll be full-go SUN. Good sign, tho. — Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) December 12, 2012
It seems that the popular opinion in the media room changed from "he's not playing" to "he's playing" in about a five-minute span. — Rich Tandler (@Rich_TandlerCSN) December 12, 2012
But as Mike Jones just tweeted, the key will be how @rgiii's knee responds to today's activity. Swelling, soreness, strength, etc? #Redskins — Tarik El-Bashir (@TarikCSN) December 12, 2012
