Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon will play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.
Garcon had been listed as questionable on the Redskins' injury report, and was a limited participant in practice throughout the week while recovering from a foot injury that has sidelined him since Oct. 7. Garcon has only played in three games this season, catching eight passes for 153 yards and a touchdown.
Garcon's best season as a pro came last year with the 2-14 Indianapolis Colts, hauling in 70 passes for 947 yards and six touchdowns. Prior to the 2012 season, Garcon signed a five-year, $42.5 million contract with the Redskins.
Safety Brandon Meriweather is also listed as questionable on the injury report. While there has been no official word on his status for the game, head coach Mike Shanahan said on Friday that Meriweather, along with Garcon, would play on Sunday barring any setbacks.
