Week Seven Injury Update

A quick rundown of injuries ahead of the Giants game.

Geoff Burke-US PRESSWIRE

Today will be another quick one, despite the long list below.

On offense:

FB Darrel Young—Hamstring. Limited in practice. Official Game Status: Questionable.

TE Fred Davis—Knee. Practiced fully. Official Game Status: Probable.

WR Pierre Garcon—Has not returned to practice. Shanahan finally admitted what we all suspected: Garcon's foot injury is "very much a mystery." He's experienced swelling and pain in the capsule (soft tissue and ligaments surround the joint) under his second toe, and continues to receive treatment including injections at the site. The common cause of "capsulitis" is excessive pressure on that joint. His recovery timeline is unknown and I'd be shocked to see him suit up against the Giants. Official Game Status: Doubtful.

On defense:

DT Barry Cofield—Shoulder. Practiced fully. Official Game Status: Probable.

DE Stephen Bowen—Rested in practice. No official Game Status listed.

DE Doug Worthington—Calf. Limited in practice. Official Game Status: Probable.

LB London Fletcher—Rested in practice. No official Game Status listed.

CB DeAngelo Hall—Knee. Limited in practice. Official Game Status: Probable.

CB Cedric Griffin—Hamstring. Limited in practice. Official Game Status: Questionable.

CB David Jones—Achilles. Did not practice. Official Game Status: Questionable.

S Brandon Meriweather—Knee. Official Game Status: Out.

S Jordan Pugh—Concussion. Limited in practice. Official Game Status: Questionable.

On special teams:

P Saverio Rocca—OMG his name is SAVERIO? Knee. Limited in practice. Official Game Status: Questionable.
