Antrel Rolle's Sour Grapes Make for Great Bottle of Whine

Antrel Rolle is an idiot.

Not only did his team lay an egg against a team they have owned for years, but you could point the finger DIRECTLY at him for the loss if you really wanted to do it. His personal foul in the second half extended a Washington scoring drive that put the Redskins up by two touchdowns. Had he played smart, the Giants would have taken over in relatively decent field position down only one score.

Instead, he played dumb. And his team paid the price.

Now, Rolle has made the headlines again by suggesting that not only are the Giants the better team, but that if the Giants and Redskins played 100 times, the Giants would win 95 times.

Said Rolle:

"We as a team and as an organization, we know that the Washington Redskins is not better than us. We know that hands down. If we played them 100 times, they might win five."

First of all, we have played 159 times...and the Giants haven't even won 95 of those (close though--92..hahaha.) Secondly (and more importantly), the Giants did not lose at the buzzer on Sunday. They got BEAT. Our defense handled Eli and the New York rushing game and Rex Grossman had his way with the Giants secondary.

Sorry Antrel...after one week of NFL play, WE ALL KNOW ONE THING: Today, the Washington Redskins are better than the New York Giants. I didn't want to say it. But you made me.
