The Redskins have been busy this Sunday with two transactions. First off, the Skins addressed their need at right tackle by re-signing Jammal Brown to a five year, $27.5 million deal. Brown started 14 games for Washington last year, as he continued to recover from an injury sustained in 2009.
The other more "shocking" move was a deal the Redskins brokered with the Arizona Cardinals. Vonnie Holliday and a 2012 draft pick were sent to the Desert for running back Tim Hightower. Hightower, a former University of Richmond standout, is 25 and is coming off a career year in which he ran for 736 yards and 5 touchdowns.
