Paul Posluszny Most Likely Returning to Bills

We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and although nothing has been officially announced, according to several sources, including ESPN, we are likely to have free agency by the end of the month.  With free agency right around the corner (hopefully) and the condensed frenzy that is likely to ensue the Hogs Haven staff will try to keep you up to date to all potential Redskins moves, as well as keeping an eye around the league.

One player that has been speculated to end up in DC, and a move that many fans would seem to back, is Bills' inside linebacker Paul Posluszny.  Posluszyny has been speculated more to join either NFC East rival the Giants or head south to the Jacksonville Jaguars. But according to Pat Kirwan it seems as if Poz is staying put in Buffalo for the next couple of years.

Posluszny told me he wants to return to the Bills, while general manager Buddy Nix told me the club wants Florence back. Unless the team finds upgrades at both spots, Buffalo needs its own players back. It's tough for the Bills to compete in a condensed version of free agency and I don't think the front office is going out and overpaying to replace either Posluszny or Florence.

If this does materialize, the Skins still have several options at ILB, including re-signing Rocky McIntosh, filling the hole internally (Riley), or signing a veteran like Barrett Ruud or Stephen Tulloch.
