As a fan base it seems like there are two majority thoughts regarding the draft this year: a) We have a lot of needs...and b) Trading back would be our #1option. We haven't even mentioned the idea of moving up in the draft to go after a hot prospect, it would almost be blasphemy at this point. Trading away future draft picks to move up, yea right the Skins have learned their lesson, RIGHT??? RIGHT??? Maybe not, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle:
I don't know what they have to offer, but I hear the Redskins are trying like crazy to trade up to get one of the quarterbacks, Blaine Gabbert, I imagine. Some mocks have them taking quarterback Jake Locker if they stay at 10. What a reach that would be, but Mike Shanahan loves mobile quarterbacks who can throw on the run.
I'm guaranteeing this is a tremendous smoke screen, if not get your pitchforks out!
