Schilling has the ability to be a good fit in a zone blocking scheme. He will need to refine his footwork at the next level, but if he does become more of a technician, he could become an early starter in his NFL career. He proved to teams at the NFL combine that he has the size, strenght and quickness to succeed at the next level.
The Redskins could use an upgrade at guard, but lack mid-round draft picks where decent guards are often found. If Schilling slips into the 5th round, he would be a wise pick for our ZBS, and would have a chance to compete for a starting spot in training camp.
