Howard Balzer of 101ESPN in St. Louis reports OJ Atogwe, who was released Friday because the team wouldn't pay an $8 million bonus that was due today if he had been on the roster, is scheduled to visit today with the Washington Redskins. The Redskins' defensive coordinator is Jim Haslett, who was with the Rams from 2006-2008.

Said Atogwe, "My agent has been talking to a few teams and we have discussed the possibility of going to different places. I'll meet with them (Redskins) and see what's up."

How great is that picture? Oshiomogho Isaac (bless you) Atogwe was a 1st round pick in the 2004 CFL draft and later a 3rd round pick in the 2005 draft. The former Standford Cardinal has never seen a Pro Bowl but he certainly is a force on the field. Every Redskin fan remembers the Pete Kendall disaster vs the Rams in 2008. Who returned that 75-yard ball?? Oshiomogho Isaac (bless you) Atogwe.

Atogwe was a free agent for a brief moment last year, but Shanahan and the Redskins were unable to make it happen. I really think the Redskins will pull the trigger on this.
