Since it's Groundhog Day, I can't help but mention one of my favorite movies and use it to somehow (easily) compare it to the Skins. Remember the scene where Phil is driving down the railroad tracks towards an oncoming train - "I'll bet he'll swerve first." Insert any Redskins fan in that driver's seat and that's how I feel about this team. Just like in the movie, the Redskins are stuck on repeat - draft picks out, free agents in. When will the day of goodness arrive to buck this cycle? (Hint: 2012 we still have all our draft picks!!!) There's a lot of great players in the first two rounds so the Redskins can do some good - (I have to say that). Other quotes that relate...
Phil: You want a prediction about the weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life.
Phil: There is no way that this winter is *ever* going to end as long as this groundhog keeps seeing his shadow. I don't see any other way out. He's got to be stopped. And I have to stop him.
Rita: Do you every have déjà vu?
Phil: Didn't you just ask me that?
The sad list of free agents brought in and the # of draft picks the Redskins have had each year after the jump. Rinse, Wash, Repeat...
