Redskins Drop Miserably in ESPN's Ultimate Rankings

Last year the editor for ESPN contacted us with several questions regarding the Redskins' experience. They followed up again this year, and it's easy to see why the Redskins slipped given the horrible year that was 2009: 4-12, sign bans, we all know. But I certainly take some issues. This list was put together early June, and it's clear a lot has changed from the Jim Zorn era. The Redskins dropped 13 spots to 105 (out of 122 total teams of all the major sports).

Many thing are taken into account such as affordability, stadium experience, players attitude, coaching, title tracks, ownership, and bang for the buck.

So, really? The Redskins are that close to the worst?

Where I'm lost is how the Orioles, Royals, Buccaneers,  Nationals, and PIRATES are ahead of the Redskins. There are more ushers than fans at Camden Yards and the Orioles have easily the worst owner in all 4 sports. Fedex Field has been a disaster the last 5 years, but with the new scoreboards and coaching staff, I expect this to take a mighty jump in 2011. Can training camp start already? This topic is about as exciting as a Durant Brooks punts.

Oh, and ESPN ranked the Boston Red Sox 74th. Huh? Yea, that owner, fan base, team, and stadium are really crappy.
