Redskins Defensive Line Depth Chart - Sans Albert Haynesworth

As announced previously in this space, XFINITY from Comcast has generously agreed to support the best NFL community around -- us! As part of that effort, between now and the end of the 2010 NFL season XFINITY will be sponsoring a variety of special editorial and interactive features on our site.

Albert Haynesworth has moved on, so it's time for us to do so as well. With Albert likely out, here's how I see the current DL depth chart.

Left Defensive End

Nose Tackle

Right Defensive End

Phillip Daniels

Ma'ake Kemoeatu

Kedric Golston

Adam Carriker

Howard Green

Vonnie Holliday

Anthony Bryant

Other players in the mix include: Rob Jackson (6'4 269 lbs), Trey Jacobs (6'4 295), Greg Peterson (6'5 315 lbs), and Darrion Scott (6'3 289 lbs).

The first thing that comes to mind is; "Wow. Our D takes a big step back with Albert not in the lineup."

The Right side of the line is missing notable size, so that will be the likely attack spot for opposing offenses. Vonnie has experience, so he could see a lot of time with Kedric.  Rob Jackson is more built for a LB in a 3-4. Several of these guys haven't played in the NFL for over 2 years and some of which are coming off major injuries (Carriker, Kemoeatu). What the Redskins OLine went through last year, I fear the defensive line may go through in 2010.

Full list of past injuries after the jump.
