First offseason injury casualty: WR Steven Harris

Per Covering the Redskins' mini camp recap:

WR Steven Harris, who was on the Redskins practice squad last year tore the ACL in his knee on the first day of mini-camp.. He won't be able to compete in this summer's training camp..
Harris was practice squad through and through and never broke the roster last year. He is the first casualty of the team's 10 wide receivers vying for limited spots on the roster. Barring injury (and thus IR), Santana Moss, Antwaan Randle-El, Brandon Lloyd, and James Thrash are locks to make the roster. I would throw Mike Espy in there as well since he broke out of the practice squad and played in the Tampa Bay game. That's already five guys, though any remaining spots are now semi-open with Harris going down.

Steven Harris might not be a life-or-death loss for the Redskins, but this injury will make it significantly more difficult for him to remain in the National Football League. I wish him the best in the future and appreciate his off-field, practice squad contribution to the team.
