Danny Muir visited Redskins

Who is Danny Muir? Late round projected Defensive Linemen out of Kent State who just bulked up to play Defensive Tackle, could be a Kedric Golston-ish pickup for the Redskins on Sunday. Per Recordpub.com, emphasis mine:

Kent State NFL prospect Danny Muir, who has bulked up to 310 pounds to fit the profile of a pro defensive tackle, is also getting a last-minute looks from scouts. The Detroit Lions have called to find out more about the Flashes star defensive lineman, whose stock has also been on the rise in recent weeks. Muir has visited the Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens.
I can't find anything on this guy except for this Kent State 2006 Football Preview:
Star of the defense: Senior DE Danny Muir...

Best pro prospect: Muir...

Top three all-star candidates: 1) Muir, 2) CB Jack Williams, 3) DT Colin Ferrell...

The pieces are there on the front four, or front three with a Buck linebacker/end, to use several different options to find the right fit and be far better against the run. Danny Muir and Colin Ferrell might be the league's best tackle tandem, even though Muir is technically an end, while the rotation of Anthony Dugarte and Larry Brown should be strong on the nose...

DE Danny Muir, Sr. - 52 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 8.5 TFL, 7 quarterback hurries
Muir got really big really fast going from 255 to 285 and is among the best defensive linemen in the MAC. He could be a tremendous run-stuffing nose tackle if needed and has the quickness to be a terror in the backfield moving over to end. It'll be a shock if he's not an All-MAC performer and the leader of the defense.

Hope that helps. Probably a meaningless Draft factoid (now: Draftoid) though I take sick pride in providing the utterly pointless Redskins minutiae that will likely be irrelevant by this weekend anyways.
