New Poll: Is Suisham Your Washington Redskins Kicker?

First things first, Poll Recap:

With the 6th pick in the 2007 draft the Washington Redskins select...
a Defensive End    10 votes - 15 %
a Cornerback    1 vote - 1 %
Trade Down    28 votes - 44 %
Best player available. Period.    12 votes - 19 %
Best DE or CB available    8 votes - 12 %
Other (explain in comments)    4 votes - 6 %

Sweet vindication!

Moving on. Based off this Gary Fitzgerald column, where he examines Shaun Suisham's rise to starting place kicker, a position he wrestled from Nick the Kick and probably Hall. And even though I'm not especially fond of John Hall the Kicker, you have to admire this kind of honest self awareness and professionalism:

"I'm not going to worry about [my future with the Redskins]," he said. "I just want to get healthy. Shaun has done a great job and he's done everything they've asked him to do. When you get injured as much as I have, it's tough. I'm just going to work hard and rehab.

"I don't have any expectations. I enjoy being a Redskin. Great organization and I'm happy for the opportunities I've had here."

We'll resume draft talk soon, but briefly I want to put it to Hogs Haven reader(s). What is to be done with our kicking situation? Does Hall deserve a shot? Is Suisham the guy? Someone else? Competition?
