Sunday's MVP?

New Poll kids, vote below.

Shawn Springs - blanketed Steve Smith and held him to just 34 yards receiving. He did give up a touchdown, but it was in virtue of an amazing catch by Steve Smith; the coverage was excellent.

Sean Taylor - 5 tackles and an interception late in the game in the endzone to clinch the win. He also stopped Carolina for a 4 yard gain on a clutch 4th and 6 to give the ball back to the Redskins late in the 4th quarter.

Vernon Fox - Intercepted a pass to Steve Smith early in the game to set the tone for this secondary. It was also very refreshing to see this position produce anything besides missed tackles and whiffed coverage.

Rocky McIntosh - Partially blocked a Carolina punt in enemy territory. The resulting short field gave the Redskins a go-ahead touchdown on a Campbell to Antwaan Randle-El pass.

Ladell Betts - Solid 4.3 YPC and over a hundred yards rushing in replacement duty for Clinton Portis.

Chris Cooley - 89 yards receiving including an amazing 66 yard reception where he essentially shrugged off two Carolina defenders. The touchdown would ultimately give us enough points to win. Led the team in yards and receptions in the game. Also recovered a TJ Duckett fumble.

Jason Campbell - Despite a headset malfunction, called the 66 yard pass play to Cooley and executed to perfection. Did not get razzled at any point in the game despite the offense struggling at times and an earlier interception. Snagged his first NFL win as well against a tough 6-5 Carolina Panthers defense.
