What about Andre Caldwell?

I definitely think it is a stretch to take a WR in the first round and remain committed to that position even through the 2nd round (I simply feel that there is better value at that position to be had by waiting) but ran across a familiar name looking for later-than-first round wide receivers who happened to be over 6 feet tall. Andre Caldwell:

45. Andre Caldwell, WR, Florida, 6-1, 207, 4.41, 2: The younger brother of Washington Redskins receiver Reche Caldwell, Andre has quick feet and straight-line speed. He may be close to his potential already after improving each year in one of college football's most pass-happy offenses. Injuries have been a recurring issue.
Forty fifth projects as a 2nd rounder, which is where NFL Draft Scout places him. Mocking The Draft has him at 99th though back in December he was the fifth best WR per that site.

For reader(s) who think a WR is just what the team needs, any thoughts on Andre Caldwell? I thought we've had an unusual amount of success with his older brother, though that may mean very little.

I pulled this off of SI.com
Thanks bucky...

"James Hardy, Indiana: The former basketball player brings a rare combination of size and athleticism to the position. At 6-foot-6, 220 pounds, Hardy is a natural matchup nightmare in the red zone, and his ability to score touchdowns (36 career scores) is unmatched by any other receiver in the draft. Though Hardy is raw and unpolished as a route runner, his freakish athleticism and outstanding hands make him an enticing addition to any offense. Expect a team to grab the Plaxico Burress-like talent in the late stages of the first round."

ooooohhhhhh!  I'm in man-love.  There are actually several larger, physical guys coming up in this years draft...also:  hat tip still goes to SI.com:

"Malcolm Kelly, Oklahoma: The Sooners' top target is a big, physical receiver with excellent hands. Kelly, who scored 19 touchdowns and averaged over 16 yards per catch during the past two seasons, is a polished route runner who excels at using his size to create space from defenders at the top of routes. As an excellent runner after the catch and courageous receiver over the middle, Kelly is a perfect fit in a West Coast offense. Even with his checkered injury history he'll probably be selected in the first round"

Lovely.

Tough position...
late first rounder means he'll fall right to us but that he probably won't fall to our 2nd round pick. He sounds pretty damn awesome, though.

Link here and let me just say that I think Bucky Brooks is an explosive writer.

Thanks for the heads up on Hardy, Justin.

Too Early!
Like Caldwell and may be available in later rounds.
Watched Hardy light up a good man to man cover in Penn st. corner Justin King, but I'm finding it harder and harder not to believe the Redskins are going with a Defensive lineman in the first round and Hardy will NOT make it to the Redskins pick in the second round.

Free Agency, during March and April may help clarify the direction...I'm staying with picking up a WR in FA.
