HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!

Skins pull out a sloppy game in overtime. Discuss.

My quick take:

YAY

Portis (5.8 yds/carry) and the running game in general
Randle El
Suisham under pressure
Campbell long passes

BOO

Campbell bad decisions
Smoot dropping easy picks
Saunders not trusting the running game more
Jansen's ankle

And my favorite thing of the day is the Eagles getting punk'd by Green Bay. Here's a fun quote from Bleeding Green Nation:

Here's another nice thing

By the end of the day, we'll be tied for first with either Dallas or NY (most likely Dallas), and a gmae up on half the division.

Actually...

if NYG and DAL tie, the Skins would be in sole possession of 1st place.

Like I said before, the Pete Kendall trade is big news now that jansen is out.

Anyone remember the website that did the breakdown of the offensive line play... with the plus/minus system? I'd like to see how the line looked before and after jansen went out.

The defense looked pretty okay. MIA's offense looked better than I thought, which is to say they didn't look terrible.

Portis looked fresh, Betts looked good, Sellers can still move a pile. Big thumbs up to the run game in general. I'd like to see the offense get to a point where they looked more like PIT's offense... by that, I mean having JC throw the ball 16-20 times a game. The running game can help him out with giving him time, setting up play action, etc. More might be less with him.

All in all good game. Can't argue with 1-0.
