Yahoo! is reporting that Ladell Betts has been released:
Sep 1 Betts was released by the Colts.Recommendation: He lost the backup job to Jim Sorgi, but could be signed to the practice squad.
In other news, the Redskins have signed LaDainian Tomlinson to a 5-year contract extension.
