Sean Taylor is good enough for Pete Prisco
Even if none of the other Redskins were. First, hat tip Extreme Skins for tracking down Pete Prisco's Top 50 Players list (because everyone loves a list!).
You know what's awesome, though? Roy Williams is nowhere to be found. Sean Taylor ranks 3rd among Safeties and reigns supreme in the NFC East, if Pete Prisco is to be trusted. I might consider Santana Moss and Clinton Portis for this list, though he makes it clear that placement is ranked heavily by recent performance. Neither had outstanding seasons last year.
Have at the list, reader(s).

Further proof that Prisco kinda sucks
Prisco really mailed this one in. He's got a lot of guys on there who are longer on hype than they are on achievements (Ware, Rhodes, Deangelo Hall, even Carson Palmer).
C'mon Prisco, Palmer is the 5th best player in the league? Really? Palmer has had TWO good seasons and you put him ahead of guys like Walter Jones and Torry Holt? Really?
I think Palmer's got a bright future, but the NFL hype machine needs to slow down on that one. At this point Palmer's stats and win/loss closely resemble that of Marc Bulger. I know nobody like Bulger, but either Bulge is underrated or Palmer's overrated. But right now they have the same track record.
Frank Gore is #21? You know he's had exactly ONE good season, right PP?
Prisco put Chad Johnson ahead of Steve Smith, Torry Holt and Marvin Harrison. Really? Chad Johnson had had four good seasons, compared Holt & Harrison who virtually qualify for the HOF already and are still very much in their prime (Holt more than Harrison).
This list is the top 50 potential players, not the top 50.
No one in their right mind would select Deangelo Hall over Donovan McNabb or Bob Sanders over Jon Ogden.
Prisco kinda sucks.

Fair enough
Mostly I'd just like to reiterate a point I made: myself and the rest of the football world needs to recognize that right now, Bulger and Palmer have almost identical track records in the Pros. (we all know how valuable Heisman Trophies are, just ask Danny Woeeruerffull)
I used to love Palmer and dislike Bulge, but a Rams fan forced me to realize they're a lot more similar than I previously thought.
