Though I hate using "well" and "surgery" in the same sentence. Come to think of it, I hate using "surgery" at all. Per the Official Site with a hat tip thrown Extreme Skins' way, emphasis mine:
Thomas is expected to be fully healthy by the start of training camp in late July.
What his injury history really tells us is that he's willing to play through pain and, surprisingly, he's been getting less susceptible to injuries over time. Injuries never really affected him in 2005 until his shoulder took him out of the postseason, but he recovered well and didn't even make the injury report through 2006.
I doubt that this surgery represents a lingering problem and choose to shove my head into the dirt on the knee issue until I have reason to do otherwise. Personally, I think he's the best player on our offensive line and am not afraid to say so.
