Around SBN: Are The Orioles Bad Or Unlucky With Their Young Pitching?

NFL London

I have seen a lot of both positive and negative views towards this game and the prospect of others in the near future.
Personally I love the idea (for obvious reasons) and it can only help in increasing the popularity of the game over here and in the rest of Europe. But I can understand the concerns of fans who don't want to lose out on a home game especially as there are only 8 home regular season games and losing one would not only suck (i know i would hate to lose one of the home games for my 'Soccer' team.. and we get 19) but it stands to be a huge disadvantage for that team losing the homefield advantage.
So basically what do you guys think? and how would that change if it was one of the 'Skins home games?

Love it
so long as it doesn't include the 'Skins:)

The positives for the league outweigh the negatives for any particular franchise. Reaching new viewer bases will increase league revenues which is good for players and team stability. It could also go a long way towards increasing the talent pool the National Football League recruits from, a point I think Redskins fans can especially appreciate. Our own Offensive Coordinator hails from across the pond originally.

That said, I appreciate the concern from each individual team. Someone has to sacrifice a home game to make it work. There are ways to mitigate this for teams (perhaps reimbursement, as an uncreative solution). All said and done, I don't think it's too much to ask one of 32 NFL teams to sacrifice a home game each year, so long as they aren't asked to do so more than once every 31 years, especially if it is in the best long term interests of the league, as decided by the owners as a whole.

If and when it is the Redskins turn to play, I'll hope that game is in Canada and not London. But even if it is in Sydney, though I will complain, I'll accept it as a sacrifice worth making for the league.

Man U????
That's like cheering for the Yankess...

I dunno... I always kinda liked Arsenal, even despite the fact that I'm not the biggest Henry fan... but since Clint Dempsey went across the pond, I'm sorta partial to Fulham.

I'm from Manchester..
So they have always been my team. Yeah Fulham are a decent choice, there are a few Americans there, and a Canadian.
