Okoye Draft Love
Todd McShay's new draft board (Insider -- subscription required) apparently has the 'Skins taking Amobi Okoye.
Projected pick: Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
Needs: DT, DE, G, S, CB, WR, OLB, QB, TE
After setting a franchise record with only 19 sacks in 2006, the Redskins must upgrade their pass rush. Because Adams is no longer on the board, Okoye becomes the next-best option. The 19-year-old has bulked up to 300-plus pounds and recently ran the 40 in the 4.8-second range at an on-campus workout.
War Cry! had their weekly summary of the Mock Draft Database, mentioning Okoye:

Not just him

Yeah...
If it's between Okoye and Landry... I think I might go with Landry. Landry, to me, seems much more NFL-ready... plus, even if he doesn't see the field on defense, he can at least provide help on special teams, something Okoye won't be able to do.
I see the 19 year old Okoye as a major project. Yes, he's bulked up to 300+ but he's not the run-stuffing DT that the team needs. I think Branch, though falling in all the mock drafts, fits the team's needs better.
Adams might fall, and if so, I'd take him. If not, I think right now I'm leaning towards Landry... if what everyone thinks about Anderson dropping is true.

Keep in mind...
When players fall or rise on mock drafts, it's typically from a cumulative effect. Mock Drafts cannot help but reference one another, and I doubt the "Pros" are all that much different in this regard than us amateurs. Alan Branch and Jamaal Anderson falling in mock drafts might not be evidence of anything besides a bunch of people following the first lemming off the cliff.

Adams seems to be the best overall defensive
But I thinks its interesting what has happened to Branch.I know they worry about his weight, but this guy always is in shape for the season and if we want someone to start right away and hopefully be NFL descent by end of the season it is him we should take!
Okoye has much more promise, but unless the skins agree that he will be a factor in the next season or two,Gibbs might not be around for this pick to be much of an impact and I think they will be counting on this pick highly if they stay at the 6 spot.
Landry is a good pick here, but I fear that he will fall into the realm of an AA,his coverage skills is what we need and on film I think it is hard to tell if he will fit that mold.

Thanks Patrol
Yeah, we've been doing this since December and Okoye really came about toward early March, prior to that I do not believe we had oen mock with okoye on it. Landry went from 0 mocks last week to 3 this week, not sure what that is all about.
Right now the clear battle fo the mocks out there is between Adams and Anderson. personally, this draft is deep, deep in defense and I would prefer to see us trade down and pick up some picks, my bet is, that is exactly what we do.

Landry
That is per speculation, so don't take it too seriously, but that's what I believe is driving a lot of this.
