Briggs Still An Option
Didn't see it on front page yet, so I thought I would toss it up here.
This is the news about Briggs and a possible Skins deal.
This one I would like your opinion, about it being a bad move.
Not sure how three lines, constitutes one line. Maybe links don't get counted in that number.

Hmmm
And here's the quote I saw from NFL.com
"The Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears are considering a trade that would send the sixth overall pick to Chicago for Bears linebacker Lance Briggs and the 31st overall selection. "
Wait
I've been at work 3 hours now with a large cup of coffee at my side, and I'm STILL half awake.
What about Marcus Washington?

Ya...
I think...
He has to think that he can get 10-15M in signing bonuses on the market now, perhaps more, and signing bonuses are checks cut immediately to the player (though the cap ramifications are spread out over many years). That's one reasons player's like SBs so much, they get a fat check up front. From Brigg's perspective, he's losing money at 7M a year because he (feels as though he) should be getting 10-15M, plus base salary.
