Colts run defense

Colts run defense dominating Redskins. Their TD is a result of bad officiating, and Mark Brunell throwing. If Brunell continues to throw with no running game, Colts are in good shape... unless the refs continue to make terrible calls like that.

First of all

I'm impressed with Brunell throwing the ball downfield... 2 in a row, Cooley for a TD.

Second, why run to the outside on a very small and quick defense? Portis needs to be pounding the inside, even with big Booger there.

and Moss didn't even really do anything. A jumping helmet spearing attempt? Come on now. If you're gonna get a penalty, at least do something that affects the guy. He hit him hard enough to get a penalty and that's about it.

This is probably the best case scenario

for the Skins heading into halftime. The health of Manning and Portis issues, though both played until the end of half.

The Skins need to shore up the defense, but good luck against a (presumably) healthy Manning.

More rushing up the middle is needed. It opened up the passing game and gave Burnell time to throw downfield.

Looks to be a good game.

Looks like Booger helped the run defense...

Need work on Kick returns, especially on punts.

Based on what I saw today, no reason for Addai not to be the starter.

All in all, great performance from the Colts...
