Is it Burgundy or Maroon?

I most often hear "burgundy and gold" and sometimes hear "maroon and gold", but I do think the color is closer to maroon. The two colors are below. What do you think?

London Fletcher says Robert Griffin III is Probably the Most Popular Player in the Redskins’ Locker Room

Newly minted CBS analyst London Fletcher appeared on the Junkies on Friday morning, and John-Paul Flaim attempted to ask something about whether RGIII is not very well liked in the locker room, presumably spurred on by an analyst with his finger on the pulse of the league. Fletcher quickly interrupted. "That’s not true," Fletcher said. "I’ll just stop you right there. You know what? Robert is probably the most-liked player on the team, or one of the most well-liked players on the team, when I was there, because he’s engaging. He’s charismatic. … He was humble. He handled himself like [humbly] the whole [rookie] season. He’s handled himself like that the two years I was there with him, and I’m sure he continues to handle himself that way. So I think that’s more just somebody trying to put some things out there that’s not true."

NFC East Among NFL's Most Compelling Divisions

Bucky Brooks Tightly packed NFC East offers electrifying offense ... and grotesque defense The NFC East is the most compelling division in the NFL. As I stated last week, this is the top offensive division in football right now. All four starting quarterbacks have made the Pro Bowl, and the division also boasts three spectacular runners (LeSean McCoy, Alfred Morris and DeMarco Murray) and a number of dynamic pass catchers (including Dez Bryant, Victor Cruz, Pierre Garçon and DeSean Jackson). Throw in Chip Kelly's innovative scheme, and the NFC East's offensive firepower is overwhelming. Yet, defense within the division is atrocious. With the Cowboys' shoddy tackling and the inconsistent pass coverage displayed by the Eagles, Giants and Redskins, these defenses are hard to watch. That's why I'm curious to see how the division plays out this fall. Many of the top contenders in the NFC have rugged defenses that are equipped to snuff out the league's most explosive offenses. Thus, I wonder which team will emerge from the NFC East, and if it will have enough firepower -- on both sides of the ball -- to compete with the heavyweights in the conference. While this division is currently known for potent offense, I believe the team with the top defense will claim the crown.

Cowboys LB DeVonte Holloman's Career Likely Over

The second-year player left Sunday's contest against the Baltimore Ravens after injuring his neck late in the game. A sixth-round pick in 2013, Holloman missed seven games last season with a spinal contusion. "I don't know anything medical about it," Garrett said. "I don't know that much about it, specific things in regards to that. But it has to do with his neck and he had that injury last year, and dealt with it again this year. And it's a very challenging, difficult thing for a young man who has dreams of being an NFL football player, achieves those dreams. And I told him this morning, I said, 'You're a ten-year player in my mind, you were gonna play for a long, long time.'"

Jordan Reed: Top 50 NFL Breakout Candidate - ESPN Insider

The rules for landing on my 2014 NFL Top 50 breakout players list are pretty simple: • No rookies, because we don't have much to go on (check out Aaron Schatz's take on 10 potential impact rookies, as identified by Football Outsiders' projections) • No players ranked in the #NFLRank Top 100, because those players presumably have broken out to some degree already • Older players generally aren't featured, on the theory they are what they are • Finally, if a player has already signed a lucrative second contract, he probably isn't a good candidate 17. Jordan Reed, TE, Washington Redskins: Staying healthy appears to be the biggest challenge for Reed, who has been described as a natural route runner. Reed had 45 receptions for 499 yards and three touchdowns in nine games last season, with four starts. He'll have an opportunity to improve all of those numbers this season. You can read more on Jordan Reed's breakout potential here:

London Fletcher, Fred Smoot to Join CBS’s Sunday NFL Coverage

"Former Redskins London Fletcher and Fred Smoot are set to join CBS’s Sunday coverage of the NFL, as studio analysts for CBS Sports Network’s "That Other Pregame Show (TOPS)." "TOPS" is a four-hour extension of CBS’s network coverage, which kicks off Sundays at 9 a.m. and runs to 1 p.m., and is returning panelists Adam Schein, Amy Trask and Brandon Tierney for its second season."

2014 NFL Fine Schedule: Troy Vincent details fine, appeal process

A few Redskins players might want to put this on a wristband on gameday. Troy Vincent has already named DeAngelo Hall and Brandon Meriweather as players on his watch list for this season.
