With the college football regular season over, and only four weeks left of the NFL regular season left, it's a fine time to begin the early process of evaluating college prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft.
The Redskins are in serious need of defensive help, and although GM Scot McCloughan is know as a BPA drafter, I think the need at ILB, DL, S and pass rusher will be heavily on his mind.
With that, I give you my early 2017 Big Board for the Washington Redskins. Keep in mind, many underclassmen have yet to declare for the draft, so this list may change after the first of the year.
Reuben Foster(SR) - LB Alabama(6'1" 236)
Jamal Adams(JR) - S LSU(6'0" 211)
Zach Cunningham(JR) - LB Vanderbilt(6'3" 230)
Raekwon McMillan(JR) - LB Ohio St(6'2" 240)
Malik McDowell(JR) - DT Mich St.(6'5" 290)
Jarrad Davis(SR) - LB Florida(6'1" 238)
Lowell Lotulelei(JR) - DT Utah(6'2" 310)
Tim Williams(SR) - OLB Alabama(6'4" 252)
Dalvin Cook(JR) - RB Florida St.(5'11" 213)
DeMarcus Walker(SR) - DL Florida St.(6'4" 280)
*Eddie Jackson(SR) - S Alabama(6'0" 195) - I added Jackson to my list because I feel, when healthy, he's the best free safety in the country. If he is healed from the broken leg, and shows no lingering effects, he could be a top selection.
