The Washington Redskins offensive line depth will be tested today with two starters missing in action due to injury. Center Spencer Long(concussion) and LG Shawn Lauvao(groin) are inactive, and John Sullivan and Arie Kouandjio will start in their place. This will be Sullivan’s first start with the team and first start since 2014, and will be Kouandjio’s 2nd start of the season and of his two year NFL career. The Redskins activated C/G Kory Lichtensteiger yesterday, and he will serve as depth today along with T/G Vinston Painter and T Ty Nsekhe(hasn’t practiced all week with an ankle injury). Trent Williams returns to the starting lineup today after serving a 4 game suspension for violating the NFL’s Substances of Abuse policy.
The good news for the Redskins today is that they will get Jordan Reed back from a shoulder injury that caused him to miss last week’s game.
