Tuesday Morning Roster Prediction

After watching the Redskins beat the Browns and a long week of practice since the victory over the Patriots, I have amended my roster predictions.

QB-Griffin, Cousins, McCoy

I added McCoy partly due to Cooley's comments and because this post is titled Predictions, not my wishful roster. I remember thinking much the same as Cooley stated when McCoy was signed. I still don't think a third QB is necessary unless he is a guy you want to develop.

RB-Mottis, Helu, Redd, Seastrunk

No change here although Royster made a pair of nice plays with his catch and TD run. It seems to me that Gruden likes Redd more than Seastrunk so far.

FN-Young

Of course.

WR-Garcon, Jackson, Roberts, Grant, Robinson, Moss

Robinson is getting open a lot. He looks good as does Grant for the 4th and 5th spots. Ross may push Moss but I see him on the PS still.

TE-Reed, Paulsen, Paul

Gruden would probably like to keep 4 TEs but having a 4th RB and 3rd QB doesn't permit it.

OT-Williams, Polumbus, Moses, Compton

Compton has to play well this week or he will be on the street.

OG-Lauvao, Chester, Leribeus, Long

Chester is in the same boat as Compton.

OC-Lichtensteiger

McGlynn will be right back in if Chester or Compton fail.

DE-Hatcher, Baker, Jenkins, Golston

Bowen may be added if he can get healthy.

NT-Cofield, Nield

Nield holds on for another week. Someone else needs to step up if they want to knock him off.

OLB-Orakpo, Kerrigan, Murphy, Jackson

nuff' said

ILB-Robinson, Riley, Compton, Hayward

Compton and Hayward seem to be favored by Haslett and Gruden.

CB-Hall, Amerson, Breeland, Porter, Crawford

Morris is giving Biggers his shot but I don't see production. Keep Crawford and let him be inactive untill he is ready.

S-Clark, Meriweather, Thomas, Rambo, Robinson

All of these guys may see significant action.

K-Hocker

Bye Kai.

P-Malone

LS-Sundberg

PUP-Hankerson, Bowen

I can't see Hankerson knocking any of the top 7 WRs off even when healthy

PS-CThompson, Ross, Bolser, Stevens, Thomas, Miller, Minnifield, Davis
