A full day has passed since the start of the NFL's legal tampering period. This three day window allows teams and agents time to work out the framework of deals, start rumors, and influence the price and futures of free agent players. Most of the action yesterday involved team's re-signing or cutting some of their own players, but there has been a lot of (mis)information floating around involving the Redskins as well. Who are the Skins talking to and who is off of their list?
Quick takes: Open negotiations: There will be a lot of rumors circulating this weekend, based on w... http://t.co/ogjfwdHtD1 #Redskins

*Note* Nothing can officially happen until 4PM on March 11th. Rumors and lies are a given, and some sources(Bob) are less reliable than others.
Rumored Interest:
Aqib Talib, CB, New England Patriots:
We all know the story with Talib. He has ties to current Redskins secondary coach Raheem Morris who was his head coach in Tampa Bay. The Redskins pursued him hard in free agency last year, but the cap penalty did not allow them to match the 1 year, almost $5 million contract he took to return to the Patriots. Now he is a free agency again and the rumors of Skins interest are here again.
The #Redskins reported interest in Talib is not a surprise. Wanted him last year. But may get sticker shock. Talib wants top-of-market $.

Will the #Redskins be able to afford the $10 million or so it would take to sign Aqib Talib? http://t.co/y2vBV8P7oc #RedskinsTalk

Jon Beason LB New York Giants
Hakeem Nicks, WR, New York Giants
Joe Mays, LB, Cincinnati Bengals
Keim: Thanks to their ability to block the airplane tracker, we won’t know for sure. But the names I’ve heard the most, and for a while: safety Mike Mitchell, defensive lineman Linval Joseph, linebacker Joe Mays (mostly as a special teams guy), receiver Hakeem Nicks and, perhaps, linebacker Jon Beason. They can be pretty good at concealing things, so I don’t know how accurate all the names are on this list. But I feel pretty good about most of them. Now, how many will they sign? Don’t know.

— Mike Jones (@MikeJonesWaPo) March 11, 2014
TJ Ward, SS, Cleveland Browns
Curious to see where coveted safety TJ Ward lands. Lions interested and have the $$. Dolphins, Redskins? Not Eagles, though. Not in the mix
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 11, 2014
Rumored: Not Interested
Alterraun Verner, CB, Tennessee Titans
