in this draft i see to rare talents at the ilb postion with ryan shazier and christan jones.
now i know this wont happen but if im the redskins i would draft both of these guys. it would remind me a lil of patrick willis and bowman not saying same level of talent but kind of the same type. one is a good blitzer and can cover the other is a fast sure tackler who can cover alot of ground both provide alot of versitality witch is much needed in todays nfl
Shazier 23½ tackles for loss ranked third in the nation last season.very fast, super athletic and has that positional versatility you look for. He can cover tight ends but also rush off the edge. three-down, 3-tool (run-and-hit, pass-rushing, coverage) linebacker in today's pass-heavy, shotgun spread league. 42 inch vert and a 10 foot 10 inch broad jump
Jones- tremendous athlete has fluid footwork who and flips hips can blanket tight ends or receivers down the field in coverage. Tall and long (6'4), which he uses well in coverage. Plays Christian Jones had no tackles broken and was tagged with just two missed tackles all season. played some time at inside backer and d end and outside backer both have very impressive highlights
im sure you can find a weakness in both but same can be said for all and everybody in the draft. i think with both the number of things you can do with your def is limitless and we can use these skills set on a def that lacked play makers
