Height: 5' 10", Weight: 192 lbs
Strengths: After two appeals to be redshirted were denied, Christian Bryant will enter the NFL draft. Bryant was a senior captain for the Buckeyes before suffering a broken ankle against Wisconsin in the fifth game of the 2013 season. Before the injury, he had 22 tackles and one interception for the season. In his career with Ohio State, he racked up 171 tackles, two interceptions, three forced fumbles with one fumble recovery, and 23 pass break-ups. He started 27 games for Ohio.
Weaknesses: A season ending ankle break really makes him a question mark. He was not invited to the Combine, but he will attend Ohio State's Pro Day on March 7th. Being out for so long makes his rehab very important for his draft status. His stats are good, but he was out for most of the 2013 season. He is also on the small side for a free safety.
Bottom Line: Bryant has an uphill battle if he is going to be drafted. He is talented, but more than half a season off the field is tough to overcome.
Projected Round: 7 if he has a great Pro Day. Otherwise Free Agent
Team He Fits Best On: Redskins, Bengals, Lions
