Height: 6'3" Weight: 226 lbs
Strengths: Moncrief has great straight line speed and good hands. He had consistent production in three years at Ole Miss and really helped his cause at the combine, running a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash and jumping 39.5 inches in the vertical jump along with 132 inches in the broad jump. Those numbers put him in the top five at his position and in the top ten overall in all three categories. In college, he was a decent route runner and demonstrated an outstanding second and third gear in the open field.
Weaknesses: He uses his body too often to make the catch and appears stiff playing the position at times. In addition, he doesn't always win the one-on-one battles he should, considering his height advantage against most cornerbacks.
Bottom Line: His length and speed is very attractive, and he showed he could be productive at a high level during his time in the SEC. After Moncrief's performance in Indianapolis last week, he has positioned himself well to go in the early rounds of the draft and could be special in the NFL.
Projected Round: 1-3
Team He Fits Best On: Redskins, Jets, Browns, Vikings
