There's been some chatter about the Washington Redskins seeking to move up 2014 NFL Draft. It seems they feel being around pick 30 - 32 would be ideal from some sources. Does the organization have it's eye on a certain player that most likely won't fall to the 2nd round? Most likely, Yes.
One name that's arising often for the Redskins is CB Lamarcus Joyner from FSU. He's about 5'8" 180 lbs. but he is totally a play-maker. He covers well, hits hard and blitzes of the edge very well.
While many have the Redskins drafting a Safety, most of the top tier ones will be gone by the end of the 1st round or early 2nd round. Plus, I feel the Redskins must fill the FS position with a solid Free Agent. We already drafted P. Thomas (who still could contribute when healthy) and B. Rambo (who should be in little league tackling camp right now) last season. We need a proven commodity in the back-half of our defense. If we draft Joyner, he's the immediate slot/nickel corner who can blitz QB's and be a coverage/hit nightmare for opposing offenses. The best part is he's a sure TACKLER (unlike most of our secondary)!!

Then, the icing on the cake...He can return kicks! SOLD!
I say we draft Lamarcus Joyner (could fall to #34) or we move up a little to get him, which should not cost much (maybe a 3rd day pick). HTTR!
