Kyle Fuller is an intriguing prospect but while there is without a doubt potential there, I have some questions . Let me explain...
-Here we have press man coverage, he has great positioning and is in the WR's hip pocket but he never turns for the ball and he never got a jam on the receiver which is a reoccurring theme with Fuller
-Here's a great job by Fuller to get off the block and come up and make a tackle, but what bothers me is the way he tackles and just throws his shoulder at the RB's legs, I don't know about you but I saw enough of that with Rambo last year, Wrap the guys legs up for goodness sakes
-Just outstanding coverage and a perfect breakup by Kyle on this play
-Again, the guy is in press, never gets a jam on the receiver and just lets him loose, and he doesn't have the speed to cover the out route
-Just a great job here on recognizing the route, sitting on it and breaking on the ball, you will see this consistently with Kyle Fuller and he does an exceptional job
-Here's the scary part with fuller, you'll see him at the top of the screen, he tries to sit on the route and the receiver blows right by him, he just doesn't have the recovery speed to be an elite corner in my opinion, and that scares me quite a bit
-While I have my doubts about Fuller his route recognition is phenomenal and is one of the few guys I've scouted that knows what his job is and doesn't peak in the backfield. I wasn't a believer of Fuller but after going through some tape he could develop into a solid starter in this league. The biggest flaw with Fuller is his make up speed, if he gets turned around or beat on a double move he doesn't have the recovery speed of a guy like Roby. However I think Fuller knows his job and does his job very well
