The Redskins have 10 players listed on today's injury report, but one of them was not injury related. Congratulations to TE Jordan Reed on the birth of his first child today!
From the nine other players, 3 did not practice at all today. DE Jason Hatcher and LT Trent Williams are the biggest names on the list. Hatcher missed last week's game against the Giants due to an issue with his knee, and he sat out today's practice due to inflammation in his knee. If he does not practice over the next two days, he will miss his second straight game.
Trent Williams injured his right shoulder last week, and was forced to leave the game early. He did not need an MRI and has said he does not plan on sitting if he is healthy enough to play. Williams was also dealing with a knee injury leading up to last week's game, but it is not listed this week.
"I'm going to have a lot of time off after this, after the Dallas Cowboy game," Williams said, so I mean shutting it down, that's really not in the question. If I can play, I'm going to play. Like I said, I'm going to have a few months off after this, so I'll be able to have all the time off I want."
Back OLB Gabe Miller appears on the injury report for the first time with an ankle injury that kept him out of today's practice.
Two players were limited today. Keenan Robinson(MCL sprain) and Brandon Meriweather(toe) have missed that last two games, and were not able to practice at all last week. Will Compton and Phillip Thomas have been filling in, and will continue starting unless Robinson and Meriweather are ready by Friday. Robinson was reportedly optimistic about this week, while Meriweather was not full speed due to his toe.
Compton(shoulder was a full participant in practice today, along with Chris Baker(chest/toe), Roy Helu, Jr.(toe), and Kory Lichtensteiger(knee). Helu missed last week's game and the team turned to Silas Redd, and Chris Thompson. Gruden was impressed with Thompson and said he could see more time as the 3rd down RB after scoring his first career NFL TD vs the Giants.
Notable missing from the injury report is WR DeSean Jackson. He did not play two weeks ago vs the Rams, but was able to play last week against the Giants. He was limited in practice and it showed during the game. Jackson admits he's not 100%, saying he was 85-90% last week. He was a full go in practice, and he is ready to play his former team for the second time this season.

The Eagles have already ruled out two players for Saturday's game. Nick Foles will likely miss the rest of the regular season, and possibly longer due to his collarbone injury. Trent Cole was ruled out due to a hand injury, and Brandon Graham will start in his place. The other 8 players on this week were all full participants in practice.
