Brian Orakpo's vow to win DPOY, Comeback player, and the first Deacon Jones award is a very long shot, But many think Orakpo is very capable of doing these. Brian Orakpo although a Pro- bowler, he has not performed to his full potential. Orakpo nicknamed the 'workout warrior', is extremely talented, he has all the possible physical tools to dominate in the NFL, He's 6-4 257 lbs, 4.63 40 yard dash speed, and a very astonishing 31 reps at the 225 bech press. With a very talented pass rusher opposite on the other side of the line ( Ryan Kerrigan), and a very strong line, Orakpo si primed to break out and dominate.

With that said Orakpo has only totaled greater than 10 sacks once, which was his rookie season (11). In today's pass heavy league the top pass rusher has over 16 sacks, or like last season 20.5 sacks!!! (courtesy of JJ Watt). Orakpo has a tall task in front of him, the NFL is stocked with very talented passrushers, two years ago maybe Orakpo's goal would have seem more probable, but the NFL today is stocked in terms of pass rushers ready to break out. Aldon Smith, Von Miller, J.J. Watt and Jason Pierre Paul are a few whom are already established, and are very capable of claiming one or more of those awards.

If Brian Orakpo is to beat the competition and, be at the top by season's end:

How many sacks? How many Pass deflections? tackles? and Interceptions, if he records any?

How many of each does Brian Orakpo needs to win all three awards?

Now HogsHaven, What do you think?
