Graziano: "What Cousins is, right now, for the Redskins is their starting quarterback. They don't know whether Griffin will be back in time for Week 1, Week 6, Week 10 or any week of the 2013 season. Until Griffin is back and cleared to play, Cousins is the Redskins' starting quarterback. Teams don't tend to trade their starting quarterbacks."
The Unspeakable and Unthinkable. We don't know what direction Robert 's career will take, relative to his long term health. It's not out of the question Cousins could become a successful, long-term NFL starter. If the unspeakable happens to Robert at some point in the coming 3 seasons, would Cousins be the answer? Beyond that value there's Cousin's starting role the beginning of this season plus his future backup role.
Would the Skins have won the division crown without Kirk's performances this rookie season? Or is the guy a luxury we can't afford to keep for a couple more seasons if a good deal comes knocking?
