With the Draft 2 days away and stocks rising and falling I thought I'd pass some time reloading my Mock Draft.

Round 2 - Phillip Thomas (FS - Fresno St.): This guy is the answer at Free Safety, He's a ball-hawk who's not afraid to stick his nose in the box and make the big hit. He himself stated the scheme he ran at Fresno St. is almost identical to the one utilized by the Redskins and he is also a Redskins fan; if he's there at 51. this pick is a no-brainer.

Round 3 - Tyrann Mathieu (CB / KR / PR - LSU): Tyrann's stock is on the rise. I'm convinced this man will be a major player in the NFL despite all of his critics. He is a natural football player whose instincts and tenacity are immeasurable; he'll fit the role of nickel CB and special teams returner and become a major playmaker alongside Phillip Thomas in a new aggressive, in your face, Redskins secondary. If that doesn't butter you up, maybe this will:

Round 4 - Kenjon Barner (RB - Oregon): I previously had us taking Barner in the 5th round but it's looking more and more likely that he'll be gone before either of our picks, I still believe he has great value in the 4th and will be an excellent change of pace back with great 'big play' potential.

Round 5 - Terry Hawthorne (CB - Illinois): I have a feeling that Hawthorne will be the 'steal' of this draft. He shows great size (6-0, 195) , speed, and play making ability. Although he is inconsistent at times he displays great ball skills and preformed remarkably in the East-West Shrine, he also shows value as a back-up returner.

Round 5 - Braxston Cave (C - Notre Dame): Center has become an aging position for the Redskins, it would serve us well to pick up some depth behind Monty. Cave is a team leader and will do well in a ZBS.

Round 6 - Bruce Taylor (ILB - Virginia Tech)

I'm sticking with this pick in round 6. Taylor is a Skins' fan who'd be a great fit in a 3-4. He knows how to disrupt the backfield and displays flashes of a future star which could be realized under Fletcher's guidance.

Round 7 - Dominick Reyes (S / Special Teamer - Stony Brook)

A towering safety who isn't afraid to lay the wood, he would be an excellent project pick-up with potential to become a great edition to a revamped defense.

Thanks for reading once again! Feel free to leave any comments and opinions, Can't wait for this draft!! HTTR
