I think with this draft we could end up with a Seahawks-lite type secondary following the mold of bigger corners and safeties. We also get a big-bodied back in Davis, who I think will be the steal of the draft.
Look, I know Denard Robinsonis a project but you can't teach 4.3 speed, allow him a year to be groomed by Santana and he could potentionally develop into a threat from the slot position and a big play guy with all the tricks that we have in our offensive gameplan.
I have a gut feeling that due to his slow 40 times Banks will slide down to us at 51 and be our long term answer at corner. He basically shut down both the talented recievers that Tennessee had and has the potential to be bonafide stud in this league.
Sheldon Price is a prospect with connections to the Redskins with Lou Spanos being his coordinator this past season and he's a intriguing prospect who's a little light in the a**. Look both Wilson and Hall have expiring deals and we need long term answers at corner, so both Wilson And Hall can be stop gaps until Price puts on the necessary weight.Heck, Price put on one of the best performances I saw all last season against Houston where he had THREE interceptions.
You then get three safeties who can lay the lumber, Reyes is a big body who flies around the field who reminds me a lot of Kam Chancellor, he seems to be pretty adquete in coverage also. Personally I think Baccari Rambo has the most range of any safety in the draft and plays 'centerfield' better then any prspect in the draft he's a turnover machine! I know a lot of people may not be on board with my last pick but to me Ray Ray Armstrong is destined to be a Redskin he's been compared to the great Sean Taylor ever since his high school days and there's no doubting that he is a freak athlete who is a "low-risk... high reward" type guy.
