With the draft coming just around the corner I thought I would shed some light on the majority here that wants us to go best safety/corner with our first pick. Now dont get me wrong I want more secondary help just as bad but good franchises never put themselves in the need over value trap. Our offense was outstanding last season and im a believer that you build off of your strength not your weakness. If lets say a Terrence Williams is there with our first pick then I think its a no brainer we should draft him. I think he could be the best receiver in this draft and will add another dimension to our offense opposite of Garcon and the running lanes will get bigger for Morris and Helu. I think it takes less weight off of Griffin shoulders with more weapons at his disposal not to mention the two already have great rapport with each other. Now I will that Im not all into college football but from what seen im as impressed with a lot of the cornrrs and safeties we would have to choose from and if the position is as deep as they say, then we could still land a few in the later rounds but no way should we choose any of the scraps if we could get a player like Williams. Dont fall into the trap, value trumps need. Build around Griffin and that potent offense and let the defense catch up.
