News gets worse for Redskins' Hall - Real Redskins
Yesterday, we had Adam Schefter, who is usually very familiar with the thinking of Mike Shanahan, on ESPN saying that Hall could well be a salary cap casualty. The Redskins are $3 million over the cap and releasing Hall would save the team $8 million. The smartest move is to rip up Hall's contract and try to re-sign him. When he's cut, let's wait to see how it plays out.

“I’m going to listen to other teams’ offers and see if the Redskins are willing to match,” he said. Lorenzo is 30 years old so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. It only takes 1 team though.
