Rob Jackson Suspended First 4 Games of Season

The Redskins newly signed linebacker who backed up Orakpo last season was suspended four games by the NFL for positive test of banned substance.

Mike Jones of the Washington Post is reporting "Jackson's suspension is related to an unprescribed pain medication." These suspensions are getting frustrating for fans and surely has to upset Shanahan. Cedric Griffin and Tanard Jackson received suspensions last year and Phillip Buchanon the year before.

Hopefully Orakpo will be 100% when the season starts barring any setbacks where this suspension does not become a major problem.

An interesting note from Grant Paulsen, the Redskins knew about the suspension before they signed Robert Jackson.

Jackson will still be able to participate in training camp and preseason.
